TED AND BARBARA KNIGHT

Ted began preaching fulltime in 1958 and since that time has served churches in Michigan, Indiana, Missouri, Oklahoma, and in his native Arkansas.  He and his wife, the former Barbara Earls, were married in 1958 and together they brought up two children, both of whom are faithful Christians.  Ted and Barbara were both reared at Bay, Arkansas and have been Christians since their early teens.  Ted served as an elder in the church at Greenbrier, Arkansas for 10 years.  They began their work in fulltime evangelism in 1991 and have traveled over most of the United States conducting gospel meetings, workshops, seminars, and special programs for ladies.  Since 1996 they have worked closely with congregations in the eastern European country of Romania.  Ted and Barbara have made their home in Conway, Arkansas since 1975.

Marty Knight became active in the work of Mission Evangelism in 1995 acting as co-editor of Evangelistically Speaking.  In 1997 he became involved in the ongoing work in Romania.  In 2000 his role expanded to include the publication of this web site and in February 2003 he joined the work on a permanent basis.  Marty married the former Lisa Bradford in 1984 and they make their home in Vilonia, Arkansas.  They have two daughters, Brittany and Kyndall.  Brittany and her husband, Daniel Harless, live in Conway, Arkansas.  Kyndall is a student who lives at home.  They all make their church home with the congregation in Vilonia, Arkansas.  Marty and his family were among the ten families who planted the church in 2007.  In addition to the work that he does for Mission Evangelism, Marty is a project manager for an Arkansas utility company.
