June 2005 Mexico Mission Trip

Construction on the orphanage at noon on Monday, June 6.  Work began at daybreak with only a concrete slab existing.   Three young ladies take a break from work - (R-L) Brittany Starkey, Kyndall Knight, and Angela Cothren
 
One of the biggest hits of the service effort were these swing sets that were salvaged from Conway schools by Bro. Tommy Cothren (center in blue shirt) and assembled outside the 10 Kilometer building   The completed swing sets being put to the test.

Our new sister in Christ, Rebecca Rodriguez.   Construction on the preacher's home for the 10 Kilometer church as it appeared early Tuesday morning, June 7.  Construction began on daybreak on Monday, June 6.
 
Marty teaches a class for the men on the role of the deacon in the local church on Tuesday, June 7.   Bro. Paul McLendon teaches a class for the men on the role of the elder in the local church on Monday, June 6.

Kaitlyn and Hannah Beene of Enola, Arkansas put the finishing touches on the preacher's home on Tuesday, June 7.   The orphanage nears completion on Tuesday afternoon, June 7.  This crew put the roof on in a matter of hours.
